Burt Munro Challenge Rally: 6 - 9 February 2025
Rally Site
Oreti Park – 439 Dunns Road, Otatara
There are two types of Rally Site passes available for purchase; both give you access to the Rally Site,
with the option to purchase entry to ALL racing events with no payment required at those events, or a
pass that gives you half price admission to selected racing events.
Please note: Rally Site passes are not posted out prior to the event. Passes are to be collected on
arrival to the Rally Site from the registration tent by providing your name and order number.
The Rally site is open for early camping with no security and limited facilities from Wednesday 5
February 12pm, however full amenities open Thursday 6 February 9am.

Collecting your Rally Pass
(Collection is from the registration tent located at the Burt
Munro Challenge Rally
Site, Dunns Road, Otatara)

Early bird collection: Our registration tent will be open from Wednesday from 12noon – 7pm for the
collection of
pre-purchased passes (includes both general and all access passes).

General registration tent collection hours: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 9am-7pm for the
collection of
pre-purchased passes and to make purchase of passes (includes both general and all access passes).
- Please note: All visitors to the Rally Site are required to be registered and have a pass.
The Burt Munro Challenge Rally Site

You are welcome to camp at the Rally Site outside of the official opening hours, which are 12pm
Thursday – 10am
Sunday, however, please be aware that NO facilities (showers/toilets), or security will be provided.

Right of admission is reserved at all times. No glass, no patches, and no animals are allowed on
site. We operate on
sports grounds and ask that you respect them if our continued use of them is to remain available to
us all.
- Minors must be accompanied by a guardian at all times in the marquee/liquor licenced area.
Purchase of Meals

Cooked breakfasts and hot evening meals are available for purchase at the Rally Site on a ‘roll up’ basis, subject to availability.

Breakfast will be available between 7am – 10am, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Hot meals will be available between 7.30pm – 10.30pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
- Food vendors will be on-site outside of these times.

Campervan Rules:

Caravans can be inside the Rally camping area in a designated area along the South boundary but
cannot leave for the
duration of the rally.

They must be parked up before Wednesday night as only motorcycles will be permitted in or out of the
Rally site from
9:00am Thursday morning.
- Anyone with a car will need to park it outside the rally grounds.

With the exception of motorcycles - Any vehicle wanting to come and go during the day must park
outside the Rally
grounds in the car park or field designated.

People wishing to stay in these areas will have access to Rally facilities provided, only if they
have purchased a
Rally Pass.
- Our Rally Security will not be responsible for these areas.
- Only pedestrian traffic will be allowed access to the Rally site from these designated parking /
camping areas.

There will be no facilities of any kind provided in these designated parking / camping areas and all
campers must be
self-contained.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
GENERAL
WARNING: Motor racing is dangerous and persons attending this event do so entirely at their own risk. It
is a condition
of admission that all persons having any connection with the promotion and/ or organisation and/or
conduct of the event
including the owners of the land and drivers/owners of the vehicles are absolved from any liability
arising out of any
accidents howsoever caused resulting in damage and/or personal injury to spectators. By purchasing this
ticket you agree
to follow instructions of the Burt Munro Challenge Officials, Volunteers, Support Staff and Emergency
services while at

- Tickets are not transferable to another event.

Tickets are non-refundable even if the event is cancelled. Once tickets have been purchased, this
order cannot be
cancelled. Tickets are only refundable in cases of unforeseen circumstances and will be dealt with
on a case by case
basis.
- The organisers are not obliged to replace lost or stolen tickets.

The organisers reserve the right, with reasonable cause, to refuse admission or remove any person
from the event.

The organisers take no responsibility for unaccompanied children and reserve the right to refuse
admission to
unaccompanied children.
- The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event programme at any time.

While within the event area, patrons must not distribute any printed material without prior consent
or behave in an
indecent manner.
- Any person who is deemed as intoxicated prior to entering the event will be refused entry.
- You are attending this event at your own risk which includes loss to personal property.

By entering any of the Burt Munro Challenge Events or the Burt Munro Rally, you (or any children
under the age of 15
in your care) may be filmed, photographed or taped and this may be used in future promotional
materials the Burt
Munro Challenge produces. It is deemed that a person by entering the event consents to the Burt
Munro Challenge or
third parties appointed by the festival for photographing, filming or taping. The Burt Munro
Challenge or third
parties appointed by the event organisers can broadcast, publish, licence and use any photographs,
film, recordings
or images without compensation. The Burt Munro Challenge, third parties and anyone acquiring from
them a right to
use the material are not liable to the subject for its use in any way.
